How we handle your information on this site — what we collect, why we collect it, and your choices.

Effective alvino.support@gmail.com

Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 13, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Alvino ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you visit this website (the "Site").

We keep this policy straightforward. We only collect what we need, we do not sell your data, and we do not run advertising trackers on this Site.

1. Who we are

Alvino operates this Site as a personal portfolio and blog. It also includes a waitlist for upcoming projects.

Alvino is based in Indonesia, and the Site is available to visitors worldwide.

If you have questions about this policy or your data, contact us at alvino.support@gmail.com.

Using this Site also means you agree to our Terms of Service.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

When you join the waitlist, we collect:

  • Email address — so we can notify you about a launch or related update
  • Signup source — which page you signed up from (for example, home or waitlist page)
  • Signup timestamp — when you joined

We do not require an account, password, or payment details on this Site.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, basic technical data may be processed by our hosting provider, such as:

  • IP address
  • Browser type and device information
  • Pages visited and request timestamps
  • Referring URL

We use this information only to keep the Site secure, reliable, and fast. We do not use it to build advertising profiles.

We also collect aggregated page-view data through Vercel Web Analytics (pages visited, referrer, device/browser type). Vercel Analytics is cookieless and does not build advertising profiles.

Our waitlist API also applies short-term rate limiting using your IP address to prevent abuse. A short-lived rate-limit counter keyed by IP may be stored briefly in Firebase (separate from waitlist signups) and is not linked to your email.

3. How we use your information

We use the information above to:

  • Operate and improve the Site
  • Add you to the waitlist and send launch-related emails
  • Prevent spam and abuse
  • Respond to privacy requests

We do not use your email for unrelated marketing without your consent.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand basic page usage (for example, which pages are visited). It is cookieless — it does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies — so we do not show a cookie consent banner for analytics.

The only cookies or similar storage on this Site are strictly necessary ones:

  • Hosting/security cookies set by our hosting provider needed to deliver the Site
  • Cloudflare Turnstile — when you submit the waitlist form, Cloudflare's Turnstile widget may set a short-lived cookie or use similar local storage to verify you are not a bot. This is a security check, not tracking, and Turnstile does not build advertising profiles.

We do not use advertising pixels or third-party marketing trackers on this Site.

5. Third-party services

We rely on trusted providers to run the Site. Depending on how the Site is configured, these may include:

ProviderPurpose
VercelWebsite hosting, delivery, and privacy-focused Web Analytics
Google Firebase / FirestoreStoring waitlist signups and API rate-limit counters
Cloudflare TurnstileBot/abuse prevention on the waitlist form

These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms and privacy policies. Data may be stored or processed in the United States or other countries where those providers operate.

We do not sell your personal information.

International data transfers

Because we are based in Indonesia and use providers located elsewhere (for example, the United States), your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in countries other than the one where you live, including countries that may have different data protection laws than your own. Where required, we rely on the transfer mechanisms our providers offer (such as standard contractual clauses) to protect your data when it crosses borders.

6. How long we keep your information

  • Waitlist emails are kept until the relevant launch communication is sent, you ask us to delete your entry, or we no longer need the list for its original purpose.
  • Server logs kept by our hosting provider are retained according to their default retention periods.

You can request deletion at any time (see Section 8).

7. Legal bases (EEA / UK visitors)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process personal data based on:

  • Consent — when you submit your email to the waitlist
  • Legitimate interests — to secure and operate the Site, prevent abuse, and understand basic usage through cookieless analytics

You may withdraw consent for waitlist emails by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Receive a copy of your data in a portable format
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

To exercise these rights, email alvino.support@gmail.com. We may need to verify your request.

California residents may also have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know what personal information we collect and to request deletion. We do not sell personal information.

9. Children

This Site is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including HTTPS, access controls on backend services, and rate limiting on public forms. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

11. Links to other sites

The Site may link to external pages (for example, the App Store or social profiles). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third-party sites.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes may also be noted on the Site.
